Competitions Terms & Conditions

Today FM’s decision regarding prize winners will be final, and no correspondence regarding that decision will be entered into.
Today FM prizes are non-transferable, and will only be awarded to the prize winner.
Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant, i.e. a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
Today FM will keep prize winner(s) personal details for a reasonable time in order that prizes can be sent to the prize winner(s); rules can be verified to have been complied with and for accounting purposes. Today FM may only pass prize winner(s) details on to our third parties or sponsors for the purpose of delivering the prize.
Today FM Competitions are open only to residents of the Republic Of Ireland.
For competitions requiring entry by text, the number is 087 4100 102. Standard network charges apply.
Today FM will ensure that all prizes are delivered within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible, the station will notify the winner of a delay.
All prize winners have 12 months to claim a prize and if we or our client company do not receive any correspondence (pertaining to their address or other details) in that time period their claim is null and void.
When, due to circumstances beyond our control, a prize is not available, Today FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
From time to time the station may offer a cash alternative to a specific prize, but is under no obligation to do so.
Today FM accepts no responsibility for failure due to circumstances beyond our control, to fulfil a competition, which involves a third party but has no specific cash value, e.g. meeting an artist. We will however, on all occasions strive to provide a substitute prize of equal desirability to the winner. Unfortunately, the company cannot accept responsibility if these attempts do not meet a prizewinner’s expectations.
In on air competitions, failure to appear on air will unfortunately disqualify an entrant whether this occurs due to operator error or other technical errors.
The prizes will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize to the Promoter.
The Promoter/Today FM shall not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential damage of any nature whether in contract, tort including negligence or otherwise caused by acceptance of these terms or in connection with the Prize or the Competition.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter/Today FM reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition without notice.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the courts of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Any person or persons found to be in disregard of any of the above rules will be disqualified automatically. Today FM reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion

Prize Terms & Conditions

· The prize provider is Cloud Nine Incentives Ltd, Market House, Silver End, Olney, Bucks, MK46 4AL. ABTA no. L9097 and ATOL no. 10626, www.uponcloudnine.co.uk (“Cloud Nine”).

· The Prize includes two tickets to the global premiere of “Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning” on 15th May 2025, return economy flights from Ireland to London, return private transfers from the London airport to the London hotel, 2 nights 5* hotel accommodation in Leicester Square sharing a twin room with daily breakfast, a RIB experience on the Thames and a three course evening meal at Aqua Shard (the “Prize”). All subject to these terms and conditions.

· Unless otherwise stated the Prize offered is for 2 people travelling together, both of which must be aged 18 or over. Each person participating in this Prize will be referred to in these terms as a “Participant”.

· The Prize is valid for travel on 15th -17th May 2025 only. Would-be Participants should check their availability before entering any competition. The Prize may not be taken at any other time.

· The issue of the Prize shall be conditional upon each Participant signing a binding confirmation of eligibility and release with Cloud Nine, under which each Participant shall, to the extent permitted by law, release the Released Parties (defined below) from any and all liability arising out of the use or misuse of the Prize and participation in any Prize related activity (unless that liability arises from negligence or breach by the Company or Released Parties of its obligations relating to the Prize). “Released Parties” means Cloud Nine and Paramount Pictures UK together with any entity which controls, is controlled by and/or under common control with the foregoing and any of such entities’ officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors or assigns.

· All elements of the Prize, including experiences, dates and locations are subject to availability.

· All bookings must be made through Cloud Nine a minimum of 1 week (7 days) in advance of travelling. All travel must be completed within the time-frame stated in these terms.

· Flights offered will be on direct services only and are in economy class unless otherwise stated. Pre-booked seats together and hold luggage may incur an additional charge depending on the airline. Any such charge will be the responsibility of the Participants.

· Cloud Nine accepts no responsibility for any events beyond its reasonable control including the withdrawal of, or amendment to, any hotels, flights, activities, events or retail items. Cloud Nine will use its reasonable endeavours to supply suitable alternatives in such circumstances. No refund will be offered.

· This Prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.

· In the event of cancellation, the Participants will not be entitled to claim any refund or replacement Prize.

· Any amendments made by Participants after the booking is confirmed, to the extent permitted by Cloud Nine or the relevant third-party provider, will be subject to administration charges. Some changes may not be possible.

· All other costs and expenses in taking up the Prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the Participants’ expense, these include but are not limited to transfers to and from Irish airport, additional meals, drinks, visas, gratuities, personal expenses and any costs related to COVID-19 as set out below.

· Each Participant must hold a valid passport (which must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of travel) and any necessary visas or permits required for entry into the country of destination. Obtaining passports and any necessary visas or permits, together with any costs associated therewith, is the responsibility of the Participants.

· Activities and/or experiences included in the Prize, including the Premiere, may be subject to additional terms and conditions from the activity provider(s) such as age and/or health restrictions, arrival times dress codes and security checks. Participants must comply with such terms and conditions when taking up the Prize and participating in the relevant activities. Participants take part in all activities at their own risk.

· Should Participants wish to add additional items to the Prize (additional nights, additional participants etc.) they may do so via Cloud Nine at an extra cost. Cloud Nine will advise the cost prior to booking. Cloud Nine will not enter into any discussions about cost comparison or rates sourced elsewhere.

· If any meals are included in the Prize description, they may have a maximum allowance associated with them, Participants will be notified of this prior to travelling.

· It is the Participants’ responsibility to advise Cloud Nine of any circumstance that may prevent them from participating in any element of the Prize, including but not limited to dietary requirements, medical conditions or personal circumstance. Participants should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to take part in any element of the Prize, since interaction with the general public may increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19. By choosing to take part in any element of the prize, Participants acknowledge and agree that they accept any such risk associated with those elements of the Prize.

· Travel insurance is not included in the Prize. The Prize includes a £40 cash allowance (or the equivalent in local currency) towards the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance, which must include COVID-19 coverage. It is the Participants’ sole responsibility to obtain such insurance, and to make up any shortfall in the cost of procuring insurance. Proof of insurance may be required prior to departure. Levels of coverage will vary and it is Participants’ responsibility to ensure that the level of coverage obtained by them, including COVID-19 coverage, is sufficient for their circumstances.

· Participants are responsible for their behaviour and the behaviour of their guests whilst taking part in the Prize. Cloud Nine reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude any Participant from participation in the Prize or any part thereof if any Participant fails to comply with the directions of Cloud Nine, the airline, venue or any company associated with the Prize, or, if any Participant acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes disturbance or nuisance to others.

· The organiser is not responsible for any losses, injuries or damages arising from the acceptance or use of the Prize.

· Participants are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / limitations required by the applicable local and national authorities and the relevant activity and (if applicable) transport providers, including in connection with COVID-19. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the Participants (where applicable)

The songs will be played within the first hour of the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show (6am - 7am).
